Venice a city with more than a hundred islands, Don't you think you should visit it?

Along the Canal Grande, which runs through the heart of the city, there are marvelous buildings built over a period of more than 500 years which constitute the most precious and spectacular showcase of the city. A lot of them are now used as museums, shops, hotels, and houses.

The only public transport available for moving around in the city centre is the one which navigates along the canals: the water-taxis, the water-buses, the traditional gondolas even the large cruise boats!

With the water-buses and water-taxis passengers can only travel along the biggest canals, including Canal Grande. But gondolas can go along even the narrowest canals and are recommended for those who want to have a particularly romantic memory of the city.
